Tele-Evangelists make good money. That is why we see so many of them on late night tv. Some of them are blatant money hogs, while other are more discrete when they take money from you. In times of trouble, some people turn to any hope they can get from a higher force that they make themselves vulnerable to even more losses and pain by listening to people claiming to represent god. It is very critical to develop a very strong sense of empirical truth everyday to ensure we do not fall prey to such people.

If god exists, I am 100% sure that he or she does not charge money for his blessings. How can an all powerful being who can create as much money as he or she wants only bless you, if you send him $27 for his blessings. You must see through the deceit here using empirical truth.

At Empirical truth, we consider religions as ancestral theories of our existence. Religions capture the concerns, and beliefs of the age they were created by people who think they have figured out the nature of our existence. While the narration in the video clip below is not too kind towards fellow Christians (And I have some really dear friends who are Christians), the video brings forth some contradictions within the bible that hopefully point everyone to the fact that the bible was written by humans for humans, and not a narration of truth from “god”. Empirical truth has similar opinions of other world regions, and is not singling out Christianity for this empirical truth.

Empirical truth is about looking for the evidence around us, and drawing intelligent conclusions. It is scary when a fool who thinks he knows “everything” because some historical document says so preaches what he knows in confidence. Its so important that people use their own heads, look at the evidence around us from people who are actually out there in the world doing research and deciding for themselves what the truth about evolution is. Gosh this guy is claiming that dinosaurs didn’t exit. What is more shocking is that no one in the audience seems to care that young minds are being thought the wrong information. I am glad he i did not get to see the part where according to his scriptures the earth was the center of the universe.
